it melts!

Ok. The *best* part of veg*nism, in my opinion, is seeking out and finding the good alternatives to meat and dairy. Meat alternatives are easy to come by and, to me, taste as much like the real thing as I’m happy with. Dairy alternatives like ice cream and milk fall under the same catagory; easy to find and taste pretty good.

Cheese, though, is such a problem. And it’s a problem for me, especially, because I love the real kind *so* much. Alternative cheeses are usually pretty nasty tasting and they never freakin melt the way you want them to.

Last night I was at Wegmans with Rocket Science and while we were picking up ice cream (mine was Tofutti chocolate… mmm), I saw a new variety of cheese in the non-dairy section: Vegan Gourmet Cheese Alternative.

I just tried a slice of nacho flavor on a roll (grilled cheese!) and dewd, it tastes good as hell and it *really* freakin melts.

We have a winner!
