Because I’m completely anal, and as a result of moving my blog over here, I just realized that I’m going to have to go through roughly 350 entries and fix all the images and links. Everything is still pointing to stuff on blogger.
Meh.
Also, the BG and I decided last night to nix the motorcycle trip to Georgia. I think we’d be rushing and that’s a recipe disaster. So instead, we’re going to fly to Atlanta together and I’ll stay for a week, then come back to Portland. That way I’ll have a week left of vacation to use to visit him in Raleigh on weekends and then for winter break we’ll meet in PA, where he’ll meet m, my friends and family! Eeeeeee! :)
(Yes, I *did* just separate m from my friends and family. It’s a side effect of the L + M = awesomeness.)
Awesome, awesome was
last weekend. I’ve wanted to see the Redwoods since I was a kid and they did not disappoint. :)
The BG found a back country campground with a trail leading right into the forest at Flint Ridge. It was perfect; only two other couples there camping and *no* one in the forest but us. It was quiet, the weather was perfect, and we got to see the sunset on the coast as where we parked our car was right on a cliff leading down to the ocean.

Ok.
So with some help, time and a little frustration I’ve managed to get WordPress working on frekur.com. I’m moving this blog over there. I’m still playing around with widgets and the styles so it’s not 100% what I want it to be yet.
Update your links (and feeds) please…

Thanks!
Crazy, ridiculous, fun and busy weekend with the
BG.
Will provide details and photos later… :)
I deliberately listened to
fresh mixes during the whole drive to Oregon, because I knew that listening to them after the trip I’d remember where I was, what I smelled, what I saw…
I’m listening to Shiloh right now… a really awesome mix that I heard on http://frekur.com/blog/2007/03/02/day-2-middle-america-is-boring/Day 2.
I miss those five days of driving, I wish I was back doing it again. I’ve been happy in many ways since I arrived in Portland, but I definitely believe they were the most liberating, satisfying and exciting five days of my life (thus far).
